After years of running, I’m grabbing a pen and writing my story. No longer bound by fear of failure or success, I’m writing a new chapter, speaking my truth and helping organizations grow! After attending a women’s group at the turn of the year, I decided not to make New Year’s resolutions. Instead, I committed to a year of reflection. I’ve been processing everything, including my perspective, partnerships, social problems, human potential and the plight of community trauma. What has resulted is a powerful new chapter and the birth of an author! For years, I’ve been invited to public speaking engagements because of my personal and educational achievements. Now I’m sharing all of me in hopes of helping others. What began as a series of reflections shared on Facebook has become an unearthing! It’s a new chapter founded on transparency, centered in authenticity, and grounded in healing. I explore complex topics like trauma, resistance, healing and the challenges of leadership. I am encouraging others to join me on this journey toward healing, hope and a new chapter. Moreover, with an eye toward using all of my gifts to help others, I am now offering my consulting services in the areas of nonprofit and business development, grant writing and grants management, program development, program evaluation, and technical assistance.
